McGuire received her medical training at the Duke University Physician Assistant Program and Master of Public Health Degree in Community Health Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She completed her undergraduate studies at Wake Forest University with a major in Health and Exercise Science and Pre-Medicine.
She is the Founder & CEO of Evolve Health and Wellness Community, a company that focuses on improving personal health literacy for people of marginalized identities and organizational health literacy for providers and healthcare organizations in an effort to advance health equity.
